Troubleshooting

Pad ends up an inch or two off the planned elevation. The BM is wrong. Drive to a known reference point, tap the BM badge, recalibrate.

Chevrons show large error even though blade is on the ground. Either Blade Height is wrong (Settings → SURVEY → Blade Height) or the BM is off. Check both.

Target field shows the wrong value when I reopen Leveling. The bottom input bar pre-fills with your last target when a job is restored. Tap Use Current to recapture the right number for this job, or tap Change Target in the sidebar to clear it and start fresh.

No "Auto Grading Active" banner after tapping Start. The leveling target wasn't set yet — the sidebar Start button stays greyed out until you set one via the input bar (Set Target, Use Current, or Dig This Deep). Start is also refused with a red SnackBar when there is no GPS fix or the GPS feed is stale.
