Troubleshooting

Simple Grading chapter of the Ditch Assist app manual. The same text is in the app under Manual.

In the app Manual › Simple Grading › Troubleshooting

The plane is way off the ground at one end. You either have the wrong direction, an unintended Depth Offset, or the survey doesn't actually run end-to-end of where you are grading. Open the design dialog, check the chart, and review Direction and Depth Offset.

The blade hunts up and down on flat-looking ground. Possible causes: hydraulic tuning too aggressive (see Settings → CONTROLLER), or the GPS is on RTK Float not RTK Fixed. Check the GPS Accuracy badge.

Job did not save / no design files visible. Check storage permission in Settings → ABOUT. Grant All Files Access if missing.

Auto-Nudge prompt did not appear. The prompt only fires when Auto-Nudge is enabled in Settings → GRADING → Auto Nudge (default ON). If you turned it off there, toggle it back on or use the Auto-Nudge switch on the Grade screen. Tiling and Excavator workflows always skip the prompt — Tiling is single-pass by design, Excavator has no hydraulic commands.
