Resuming and saving jobs
Land Forming chapter of the Ditch Assist app manual. The same text is in the app under Manual.
In the app Manual › Land Forming › Resuming and saving jobs
Forming jobs auto-save when you tap Stop, when you switch tabs, and when the app is backgrounded — there is no periodic save during active grading. Repeat saves within 30 seconds of the last one are skipped (a debounce), and a brief Saving job… overlay appears while the save writes. Each save updates the same job file (it does not create a new one each time).
To resume yesterday's job:
- Tap the Land Forming card on the home screen.
- In the wizard, tap Resume Job.
- The Saved Jobs dialog opens. Jobs are grouped by date with newest first. Each row shows the name, mode, and how much coverage is recorded.
- Tap a job. The DEM rebuilds (this takes the same minute or two as the original import for big designs), and the Grade screen opens with all your previous coverage and graded terrain in place.
- Re-calibrate the BM if the GPS frame may have shifted overnight.
- Tap Start and continue.
To delete an old job:
In the Saved Jobs dialog, tap the trash icon on a row. Confirm in the popup. The file is removed from disk.
Where files live:

Documents/DitchAssist/jobs/YYYY-MM-DD/ - Surveys (Forming doesn't use these directly):

You can copy these files between tablets with a USB cable.
