A few things happen when you start a tile run, all aimed at a cleaner install.
Smoother blade descent
When the blade needs to come down to reach the tile line, the app paces that downward move so it settles onto grade smoothly instead of dropping in one jump. There's nothing to set and no control for it — it just makes the install steadier. Lifting the blade is unchanged; only the downward motion is paced.
Pitch-sensor notice (once per session)
Before your first tile Start of the session, a notice reminds you that Ditch Assist has no plow pitch sensor — grade control relies entirely on RTK GPS elevation. If RTK accuracy drops, or the plow pitches down between GPS updates, tile can go in off grade without warning. Verify your RTK fix quality before starting, watch the depth guide as you install, and physically check grade on critical runs. Tap I Understand — Continue to proceed, or Cancel to back out. You'll only see this once per session.
Start at the outlet
Tile is installed from the outlet (the low end) uphill, so the trench drains as you dig. If you tap Start while you're in the inlet half of the design, the app stops you with a Start at the Outlet message and asks you to drive to the outlet end first. If you really mean to start where you are, tap Start Anyway; otherwise Cancel and reposition. On a mid-run Resume the app doesn't re-check this — it applies only to a fresh Start.
