Before you start
Tiling chapter of the Ditch Assist app manual. The same text is in the app under Manual.

Same prerequisites as any auto-grading mode:
- RTK Fixed GPS.
- Controller connection.
- Blade height correct.
- A survey of the tile route (recommended) or a saved design.
Tile install direction
By convention, tile is installed uphill from the outlet. This way the trench doesn't fill with water as you dig. Your survey doesn't have to be driven uphill — Slope-IQ's outlet detection handles the direction — but plan the install with that in mind.
About Auto-Nudge
Tiling does not support Auto-Nudge. Tile is single-pass — once the trench is at depth, the pipe goes in. Auto-Nudge is hidden in the prompt and the toggle is forced off.
Sticky tile defaults
Your last-used Target Depth, Min Depth, Max Depth, and Min Grade are saved between sessions. The next time you open the Tiling design dialog, those values are pre-filled.
