Surveying the tile route
Tiling chapter of the Ditch Assist app manual. The same text is in the app under Manual.
In the app Manual › Tiling › Surveying the tile route
Same procedure as Ditching:
- From the Tiling wizard, tap New Survey.
- Drive to the planned outlet. Tap Start in the sidebar.
- Drive the tile centerline.
- Tap Stop at the far end. Save.
Tips for tile surveys:
- Drive the actual centerline. The tile design follows your GPS path.
- Steady pace. Default Survey Interval (10 ft / ~3 m) is fine; drop to 0.5–1 m for short detailed lines.
- Stay on RTK Fixed.
- The survey does NOT have to start at the outlet — outlet detection happens in the design dialog. Drive whichever direction is easier.
Loading a saved survey
Tap Load Survey in the wizard. Pick a survey from the list. The Tiling design dialog opens with that survey's terrain. (To reopen a finished design instead, use Load Design.)
