MAP
Settings Reference chapter of the Ditch Assist app manual. The same text is in the app under Manual.
In the app Manual › Settings Reference › MAP
Default Background — the base map that loads when you first open the app:
- ESRI Imagery (Satellite) — global high-res satellite imagery.
- USGS NAIP (US Imagery) — North American agricultural imagery, often more recent than ESRI for fields.
- None — no online tile background. The map renders against the dark or sunlight surface color (useful when you have your own KML/image overlays loaded and don't need a satellite backdrop).
You can also pick the background per-session via the Layers FAB on the map.
